**EDIT @ 17.30**

Thank you EVERYONE for being so lovely about my AlfieCat...phew, he is home...bless him, he is a bit groggy, he had to have two toothypegs out..and also had a scale and polish ..and...get this..on the leaflet that the *whispers so he doesn't hear me* V E T gave me...it says to ... honestly, this is not a joke...it says to brush his teeth daily to prevent build up again ROFLMAO...erm...he is a cat..how on earth am I supposed to brush his teeth without ending up in A&E myself ...not that he is vicious...but putting your hand into a cats mouth is not advisable! Anyways...he has had half a tin of tuna...woofed it back and is asking for more but I am not giving in...don't want him to be ickky.
I have got one joke for you all though....I know I am a little...erm...heavy...and need to lose weight...so .. how do you loose 88 pounds in one day? Get your cat to have his teeth out LOL Worth every penny though just knowing he is ok now...aw...you see, I am such a big softy! Thanks everyone...I can go and craft now...have been mooching about all day and not concentrating on anything! TTFN xx

Dancing In The Rain...

...I just love some of the sentiments that Mr T'Holtz has on stamps...and the one I used for this piece has to be one of my faves...so I used it today on a quicky piece I made...cos I felt the urge to get inky and also cos I haven't used his stamps for at least 36 hours now and I felt the withdrawal symptoms kicking in... you know them...furtive glances at the OH to see if he would miss you if you nipped off to the Room of Stash...those pangs of guilt that the poor stamps are sitting there, un-inked and unloved...and...most of all...clean fingers!!!

This piece is a plain wooden frame which is really good value...which I painted with...wait for it...Trad Tan paint...well, I have my favourite paint but I thought I had my favourite Distress Ink, until this evening when I have fallen madly in lurve with Victorian Velvet...the dusky pink of this is just so gorgeous...so I used this colour...and a bit of Antique Linen in the centre...and overstamped with black StaZon for the sentiment and Olive StaZon for the twigs and foliage.

The butterflies...oh, they are my fave new Tim stamp...are stamped onto Grungepaper which had been covered with an old book page...then inked with Vict Velv (see, I love it so much I have given it a pet name LOL) and then curled... finally, adding an old pearl to the centres of them.

The frame was coloured with Vict Velv and Forest Moss Distress inks, just to give it a bit extra rather than just plain old Tan :O)) All of the stash used on this piece can be bought from The Artistic Stamper :O)) That's all for now...I am off to make something waxy now...and thank you everyone for all your lovely comments and good wishes about my poor old back...sad to say, I am still bent double but hey! why let pain get in the way of a good crafty session!!

In Stitches...

...Did you see it? I very nearly missed it cos Mr Virgin has removed Create & Craft from our TV listing...so I had to look at T'internet to see them...but...one of the Stitchels set of designs I did last year were on there...with some Sakura pens...which I haven't got enough of...but then again, I do have enough other stuff...so do I need them too??? Anyways...I spent last Thursday making some cards ready for the Sunday TV show...sent them off Special Delivery...and lo! They didn't get there in time...grrrr...what am I waffling on about??? If you fancy a little looksee at my Stitchels stamp designs if you click HERE you will be transported, as if by magic, to The Artistic Stamper :O)) Anyways, here is one of the cards I made;

Using a combo of Basic Grey papers, Martha Stewart punches and a Penny Black sentiment, I stamped up loads of the Stitchels flowers and cut them out, 3D'd them onto the card and added a couple of Maya Road pins behind them....voila! The little pearl centres are those fabby Prima E-Line packs...really good value and they are lush looking too! Another quicky post from me ...my flipping back is giving me some right jip :O(( so I am away for an early night and hopefully when I wake up the pain will be more bearable...not long til the MRI scan results. Until later, thanks for looking....au revoir, adios & ciao...see, betcha never knew I was multi-ligual :O)) *ah the powers of Mr Google ROFL*

Havin' a Party???

...this is #2 of 4 party postcards for the Gingersnaps swap...did I mention that I am the UK Co-Ordinator for the swap??? Oh, I did? Well, never mind, I like the sound of it...UK Co-Ordinator...makes the job sound very impressive LOL I wrote on the back of each postcard to make it look more like a proper postcard

Anyways...a very quick post cos...I am in a rush...more rushier than normal...cos I want to blog this piece and then get into my nice cosy bed and sleep for at least 7 hours...we have to be up and about early in the morning ... and I am so not a morning person... well, not until I have had at least three screamingly hot coffee's `:o$ The postcards are 4" x 6" in size and made from mountboard...I used Distress Inks, Bundled Sage, Stormy Sky and Chipped Sapphire and some Studio 490 stamps, Grungepaper, Grungeboard, Maya Road Chippy alpha's and frame...some Maya Road pins, a couple of sticky back gems and a Martha Stewart punch...popped it all together and then added some Rock Candy Stickles to the word. The stash used is all available from The Stamp Attic.

Thanks for looking...oh..and before I go...do you have a fave new Distress ink colour? Only, I loved Wild Honey and Rusty Hinge...then I loved Crushed Olive and Pumice Stone...but today I am in lurve with Stormy Sky and Bundled Sage together...and...is it just me...or does anyone else think that the Bundled Sage is similar in colour to Juniper Adirondack??? Ah, just me then ~ROFL~ Have a great day

Sunday Stamper - Week 97 - And Your Bird Can Sing

Morning Stampers :O) Huge thanks to everyone who joined in with last weeks challenge...it was great to see so many different interpretations of "time". This week the new theme is BIRDS. I know, I know, we have had this one before...but I have had this song in my head for ages...for those who haven't heard it before, it is another Beatles track, this time from Revolver...one of my favest albums (well they all are really but this one extra special) and also...it gave me the perfect excuse to use a little fella that flew into my shopping bag the other day when I was visiting Jennie (don't worry, I didn't rob it from the shop LOL) He has a little brother too...no doubt he will appear here soon aswell.

Right, on with the challenge...to join in, all you need to do is make a piece of art, leave me a comment here with a link to the place you are showing your entry and include some stamping and the theme on your artwork. I can then hop on over and have a nosey at your lovely creations. The challenge will stay open until 23:00 next Saturday April 3rd '10 (hey..who fast forwarded March????) Also, did you see the little logo I made for the Sunday Stamper *points to the left* yep, I made that...am starting to finally get the hang of this computering lark ROFL....please feel free to copy it for your blog if you like it :O))

For my entry I made a deep shadow box which has been lurking in my stash for ages...first of all sanding it all over, then giving it a generous layer of Traditional Tan paint (mmm, what else would I use LOL) Once this had dried, I then slapped a layer of Rock Candy Cracklepaint over the surface of the frame and inside the box sides too...this was then set aside to dry - it usually takes a good hour as I like to give the Crackle a thicker in patches look.

Whilst this was drying, I made a little collage piece to go in the middle of the box. This was made using plain white card, coloured with Antique Linen and then alternate pieces coloured with either Wild Honey, Rusty Hinge or Barn Door Distress Inks...all of which were edged with Brushed Corduroy to finish each piece off.

The stamping is all Tim Holtz collection stamps...some of the new Mini stamps are on there...as well as old faithfuls and all of the stamping was done with Timber Brown StaZon. I added some of the new Idea-ology Locks & Keys to the frame, along with some Idea-ology Snaps, a Book Plate with an Adage Ticket inside it, a couple of Idea-ology Corners...and then finally, the most divine birdy cage which I have been saving for a special project. The little hummingbird is made from soft polystyrene and he has gossamer like wings...which...ooooops, I frazzled with the heat gun when I was fiddling about trying to get the glue to dry him onto the frame! All of the inks, stamps, Idea-ology etc I used are available from The Artistic Stamper.

I have to apologise for the rubbish photo's...I really should get my Sunday Stamper entry finished in daylight and try to get a decent set of pics...but, I always leave it to Saturday afternoon and evening LOL I am going to try and get better pics in the morning...ooooh, which reminds me...Grim is wandering about the house doing things with clocks...so I think it is the old Spring Forward job tonight....which mean...an hour less in bed *sad face* ... I had better get a move and get me some beauty sleep ;O)) Thanks for looking...here's to a great arty, crafty and inky week...looking forward to seeing your interpretations of the theme :O))

Allsorts of Vintage...

...Over on the Allsorts Challenge there is a new theme - to ALTER something (yipppeeeee) and on the Lots To Do Challenge there is a new theme...which is VINTAGE....so I combined the two and altered a teensy frame...which really is teensy...about 1" x 2" in size...

I started off by painting the frame with my old fave Traditional Tan (Claudine Hellmuth's range) and then once this had dried, I spritzed it with Walnut Gold Glimmer Mists, heating as I spritzed, so I got a more dappled look. I used a rub on of a vintage lady to go in the middle and inked this with a bit of Brushed Corduroy DI to blend it in.

I then made the smallest rose in the world...cor, this was fiddly but it is worth the fiddling to make such a cute little embellishment. The stamp I used for the rose is on the Flower Power plate from The Artistic Stamper. I used some of the brilliant new Tim Holtz papers to stamp onto...these have got to be a brand new fave!!! I also used an Artistic Stamper script background...stamped with Timber Brown StaZon directly onto the frame ... which I think adds that something extra...and finally I stuck on a few pearls from my junk jewellry box.

Thanks for looking...don't forget, there is a brand new Sunday Stamper theme tomorrow...I am off to make it now LOL

In Disguise....

...Over on the Stampotique Designers Challenge blog there is a new challenge...and the theme is Easter...and it has to include Stampotique only stamps and I haven't got a single bunny or egg...so I improvised;

Check out Kitty...he isn't really a kitty ... he is the Easter Bunny in disguise... how can you tell? Cos his ears wouldn't fit in the kitty costume ROFL

Twinkie and Kitty were coloured using Distress Inks and a waterbrush and cut out and popped onto the card using silicone glue...and then...ta dah! I drew some bunny ears and coloured them and cut them out and popped them behind kitty's head.

Finally, I printed off a little saying and then coloured the card with Distress Inks and Glimmer Mists and made some ickle Easter eggs....thanks for looking...have a good evening...a quickie post from me today cos I have tonnes of stuff to do...as usual!!

Cracking Up!!

...Ok, so maybe I already did crack up...but I am even more cracked up now...cos I used some of that delish Rock Candy Cracklepaint on a little tag I found lurking in the back of a cupboard...this one must have been made a year ago...and it was just sitting there...waiting attention...so I got a bit handy with a paintbrush and applied to Rock Candy to the birdy...using my own little paintbrush made this easier...the brush in the pot is fab for larger areas but for finer bits...own paintbrush time :O))

Adding in some Idea-ology and old lace was just a finishing touch...the inky background was made (if I recall that far back) with a craft sheet, smooshed with Adirondack Felt pads and spritzed with water...

Last night was a total hoot...we went to see Jethro live in Dunstable...blimey, he is hilarious...and at one point I am sure he was pointing at me when he said that he didn't need my sort in there....Grim reckons he was pointing generally, but I knew it was me...even in the dark I can't hide ROFL Anyways...have a good day folks...thanks for looking...and...take it easy!

WOYWW ... Car Booty...

...Today is Wednesday which means that we all follow our esteemed leader Julia and show off our messy desks, I mean workspaces :O)) Nothing much going on on my desk this morning...oh, apart from a haul from a Car Boot that I managed to haggle for when we visited Mum & Dad-in-law on Mother's Day...the local car boot is usually bigger, so I had to scratch around to get what I did...but check out those two cabinets just ripe for altering...let alone, those heavenly ickley birdies...they are made from a heavy resiny type of material...not sure what I will do with them yet, but no doubt I will find some use for them!

I am off to snoop, I mean look, at everyones desks now and see what art is being created...and then I plan to make some art myself :O)

Short n sweet today...have a great day everyone...

What a Diamond...

...I have been at it again with the metal LOL I started this piece about three weeks ago...and had got as far as making the golden diamond background with the controlled squish (devised by Lin from LB Crafts) and had the Maya Road chip already to attach it to...and...
then...dis-ahster *said in the stylee of Craig Revel Horwood from Strictly ROFL*...I had a hurricane in my Room of Stash! Tis true...it swept thru the room, moving stuff about, hiding other stuff and generally making it really untidy. *mmm, wonders if anyone will believe that!!! *

So, I got busy with some more Ten Seconds Studio's metal, this time Barn Red colour, and made a rose - yep, another one, but I do love making the metal roses...so much easier than Grungepaper ones too.

This was then added to a Grungepaper flower...which had been coloured with Wild Honey and added in a couple of leaves...coloured with Crushed Olive and overstamped...BTW, all the stamps are by Wendy Vecchi and her Studio 490 range :O))

The red heart is made from Grungepaper...then it has a rusty metal heart attached with teensy brads, a little flower coloured with Wild Honey and then a Idea-ology Spinner. I also added some Idea-ology Foliage to the piece just to add some balance, it looked a bit bare without it.

The phrase has to be my very very fave stamp ever in the whole wide world...it is also a Studio 490 stamp...and it is part of the lyric from the Beatles song The End...Side B Abbey Road *yep, I am a saddo too LOL* This was stamped onto metal, scribbled on, aged with black paint, popped into a Memory Frame and then I poured clear UTEE into the frame...it gives a really cool raised domey look...the pic of it doesn't make it look too clever, but in the real it looks fab.

Thanks to everyone asking after AlfieCat...well, update is...the thingy that I found when he was icky was a roundworm *bleurgh* Goodness knows where he got that from, he is a housecat so doesn't go out...but did escape a couple of weeks ago and the vet said maybe he picked up an egg on his paw and then licked it...so that has been dealt with...but... Poor little fella has got a bad tooth on one side of his mouth and gingivitis on the other side...so he has had a big zap of biotics...which should clear the infection and next Weds he has to go in for an op to sort out the teeth...I am having major guilt trips, I am a baaaad Mummy...and bless him, I have been trying to get him to eat today...so far he has had poached cod in milk and a can of tuna...the can of tuna went down a treat..he has kept all of it down too...so I am praying he is on the mend and once his teeth are sorted he will be 100% again...blimey, our little fur babies do cause us concern don't they??? Thanks again everyone....have a goodly day x

Mr Holtz meets Mrs Vecchi....

....for Linda...cos it is her birthday tomorrow...and cos she loves both Mr Holtz and Mrs Vecchi and I wanted to make a card that combined both of their styles...easy? Not on your Nellie was it easy LOL However...I was hopping around Blogland...I love that, I can sit here on my b.t.m and hop all around the world... and not even break into a sweat! So...there I was ... In the US of A and I found an incredible blog....which was showing the most amaaaaaazing pictures of cards...made in the Mr Holtz stylee...so I figured that I could use these pics for inspiration. Now the sad part...mmm...I clicked to follow this blog...and for some reason Mr Blogger wasn't paying attention...and this blog has gone from my list of followed blogs...erm...and I can't remember whose it was or what it was called :O( I am hoping to retrace my steps later to try and find it again!

So, the card...it is a big one 8" square... so I made a mat for it with black card and then set about inking and stamping the main part. I used clear ink and clear embossing powder to stamp a Tim Holtz scroll and then coloured over the top with Distress Inks - Wild Honey, Rusty Hinge and Barn Door. Next, I made a mistake!!! Grrr...however, I went with it...cos it doesn't look that bad but I will do it differently next time! I used a piece of brown paper and an iron ...and ironed over the embossed images to create a Batik effect. The mistake was doing this now...because the next step was to stamp the music score over the top....had I have left the ironing til after the Music, the music wouldn't then have shown on the scrolls...lesson learnt!

Another mistake...I fixed the whole card together...realising only once it was stuck down that I had done it upside down...another grrr...but no one commented yesterday when Linda opened the card so I figure I got away with it! The roses were made with Grungepaper which had been covered with old pages from books and music scores...the three different sizes are the new Studio 490 roses from Mrs Vecchi - I love them! Adding in a couple of leave and the bookplate were the finishing touches...

Gotta dash now...poor Alfiecat is not feeling very well and he has to go and see the *whispers so he doesn't hear me* Vet...praying that he is going to be ok! Thanks for looking...

Sunday Stampers - Week 96 - Anytime At All

Morning Stampers `:O)) Thank you all for joining in with the challenge last week... lots of lovely bits & pieces to see on my travels this week. Today sees a new challenge...reverting back to my love of The Beatles, I have chosen another one of their songs as the title....which means that the theme this week is TIME. To join in with the challenge, all you need to do is make a piece of art, add in some stamping and the theme and then leave me a comment here with a link to the place you are showing your artwork... I can then hop on over to see it. The theme stays open until next Saturday, 27th March '10.

For my entry this week, I have used beeswax and canvas to make a collagey stylee hanging piece. The base is an 8" square piece of canvas oil board, which was painted with my very favouritest paint in the whole wide world ever - Claudine Hellmuth's Traditional Tan. I used three ickle canvases on the piece to add some depth...and these too were painted with Trad Tan.

I used tissue paper to stamp onto - using black StaZon - and then painted on melted beeswax to stick the tissue to each canvas. All of the stamps used on this project are by Paper Artsy - I have had this project in my head for about three months and finally got around to playing with the stamps - they are from the Clocks and the Ding & Dong collections...which give a really cool Steampunky look to any artwork.

Once the ickle canvases were made, I set about making a big collage for the base...using one sheet of tissue and stamping randomly onto it. Before I stuck it to the base, I used some brown and teal coloured paints just to add some colour into the background...using Cut & Dry to drag the paint across the base canvas board. Once these were dry, I painted the base with beeswax and then placed the tissue on it...the painted more beeswax over the top...the tissue was from a "handy pack" and was near enough the right size...normally I would do bits and strips of tissue but thought I would go for a change and have a single sheet.

The mini canvases were then spritzed with Jazz Blue Glimmer Mists just to add in a little colour...and I swiped a brown and a teal StaZon around the edges too. The clock on the hanger and on the board itself are made from Ten Seconds Studio's metal, stamped and then puffed out to make them a little curvy...then scootched around the edges to neaten them up. Finally, I added loads of clock ephemera and some Idea-ology pieces...check out the large glass thingy in the middle...it is one of those opticians eye piece lens jobbies...it has been in my collection for yonks and I have never wanted to use it...saving it for a special piece...so I am chuffed I used it eventually LOL

Thanks for looking...have a great week...I am off out today...tis a special birthday party :O)) and I am all set and ready with pressies, card and cake...just hoping the weather behaves so I don't have to drive in the rain!

Springy To Do....

...Over on the Lots To Do Challenge blog the new theme for this weeks challenge is Spring. It is my Mum & Dad-in-Law's wedding anniversary tomorrow...so instead of being a baaaad girl and buying a card, I set about making one. My cute phase has disappeared and I know that a grungey one wouldn't be ideal...so I thought I would centre the theme of the card around flowers and light pastelly colours, which I know MIL loves. So, I am hoping that the springy colours used for my card are ok for the challenge...

The papers are ancient...bought about 100 years ago and kept in a special sealed pack...so they didn't get sticky fingermarks on them with the repeated stroking that went on when I first got them...then...typically, I fell in love with some newer, flashier papers...and these poor old ones were left, forgotten in the paperstack...when I say paperstack, I mean the paper rack thingy that is collapsing in my room...who knew that several thousand sheets of paper and card could weigh so much?? LOL In fact, I reckon the ceiling probably needs reinforcing with the weight of it all `:O))

The cardstock used is from a DCWV stack, I used a Martha Stewart punch and some ribbon to make a border and printed off the sentiment...which, you will see, didn't print right...it looked a bit shabby...so I shabbied up the edges of the card to tie in with it...oh and the flowers are by Prima...and the pins are Maya Road.

I am off to ice a chocolate cake now...oooooh, you should be here...it smells heavenly...I was up early again with my jippy back *sob* so used the time to make a birthday cake for a certain someone...actually, I am a bit peckish...I wonder if anyone would notice if the cake had half of it missing??? LOL Have a good day everyone and don't forget there will be a new Sunday Stamper theme set tomorrow ` :O))

The Pink Party

...Eeeee, I hardly ever use pink anymore...you know...I used to loooove pink, everything was pink; clothes, nails, hair...then all of a sudden ..yak, I went off it...so it is lovely to see the new pink shades of Distress Inks...that Victorian Velvet has to be a new fave of mine...and put together with Stormy Sky and Pumice Stone...yum...lovely combo :O))

The Gingersnaps are celebrating their first birthday this month and to mark the occasion we are holding an Art Exchange; the format is 4" x 6" postcards with a Party theme. Easy? Nope! Do I have anything that refers to parties in my stamp collection??? Nope! Can't believe that my collection has let me down...I need to remedy that...another nod to the birthday wish list LOL I am the UK co-ordinator for the swap...which has now closed ... but I just wanted to say UK Co-ordinator cos it makes me sound important ROFL

As well as the Distress Inks, I used Grungepaper, Grungeboard and Studio 490 stamps and Maya Road chip...the flowers are actually the new Tattered Florals die...and whooooohoooo, Grungeboard went thru the Bug without breaking it...result!

Thanks for looking...have a goodly day...I have a top secret mission to work on...it is Linda's birthday's next week and I just realised all this faffing about with Grungepaper and Distress Inks isn't getting her birthday card made...it is a special birthday for her...she will be mortified if I tell you that she is going to be 55 this year...so I didn't tell you .. right??? ROFL

It's A Tonic...

...How could I resist those ickle Maya Road shapes that are just out...the little pack has chipboard bobbins, needles, sewing machines, coat hangers and best of all....mini scissors! Now, a question for you all....have you got or ever used Mr T'Holtz's Tonic Studio's Scissors? And...if you have got them or used them...do you like them? Are they your bestest ever scissors? The reason I ask is because I saw a question on a forum the other day...and it said "what is the ONE thing you cannot craft without?" My answer, immediately, is my Tonic Scissors. First of all, they are uber sharp...I have had one pair for three years nearly and never sharpened them...the other pair (which are for best ROFL) are exactly the same....but, why have two pairs??? Cos...one is for cutting out chipboard and mountboard, mounting rubber stamps and cutting into metal...the other pair is for fine work...but to be honest, all the bashing the first pair have had has made no difference to their performance at all! I would love your feedback...go on, feel free to discuss the merits of these fab scissors...

Now, why am I waffling on about Mr T'Holtz's scissors??? Cos...in the little pack of Maya Road shapes is a pair of chipboard scissors *bear with, I know I already said that* ... and... it I thought it fitting that I made the chippy scissors into mini replica Tonic Scissors ...call it hero worship, adoration or just plain daftness... but I think they look pretty coolio :O)) I added in a little mini brad from the Idea-ology range and coloured them with Pumice Stone for the snippery bits (erm...for the grown up readers...the blades LOL) and for the Kush Grip handles I coloured them Barn Door.

The base of the piece is a Maya Road page from a coaster book....decorated with Studio 490 stamps...of course...Maya Road and Distress Inks = Wendy Vecchi stylee...I added some Maya Road braid...this is ssoooooooo gorgeous...you can see, I used a fair bit of it...and added a couple of buttons too. The ickle needle is threaded with a piece of old string...coloured Pumice Stone...and the Bobbin has some black cotton threaded around it. The little shirt on the hanger was stamped onto Grungepaper...and coloured with Stormy Sky and then covered with Rock Candy Stickles. Now it is time to admit I made a boo boo....I plonked my dirty great thumb print onto the ART word...so I tried to rub it off...naffed it up ...so covered it with Rock Candy Crackle...think it blended in pretty well :O))

Thanks for looking....oh, I almost forgot to say...the little scissors here...they have Glossy Accents on the snippery bits...cos that is what mine look like...all gunky...and...I reckon I need Mr T'Holtz to pop over to my house and do a mini signature on them LOL

Gingery, Coppery & Rusty...& WOYWW...

....For the Gingersnaps have celebrated their first birthday and the new challenge theme today is to use Ginger, Copper and Rust colours on your art...*something to do with the Gingersnap name there I reckon LOL* Remember the piece from yesterday? You know, the one with the copper metal that went squarey?

Well, here is the piece in its finished state...the colour has changed radically...I sloshed a load of Ginger, Terracotta and Rust Alcohol Inks over it...and then gave it a good rub with a soft cloth to make it shiny.

The rose and the heart...they are from the tutorial I did last week...again, colours changed with Alcohol Inks...and I added a couple of flowers and leaves behind the rose to build it up a bit...adding on the sentiment but keeping it copper coloured is the only thing I am not 100% sure about...there seems to be too much contrast between that and the rest of the piece...but...I left it as it was...mainly cos I had stuck it down and it wouldn't budge LOL All of the stamps used on this piece are by the very clever and incredibly talented Mrs Wendy Vecchi...if you click on her name you can be whizzed off to her blog...

The strip of "rivets" made as a separater was done using silver metal and a fat ball and cup tool, then a little ball and cup tool to make the rivetty bits in the centre...then coloured with black paint...then coloured with Alcohol ink again. The finishing touch was a rusty heart, which I punched with Colin... *Colin is my Crop-A-Dile...I longed for one of these for years...and finally got one and loved it so much, I bought the company....noooooo...that was that daft Remington advert...nooooo, I loved it so much, I named it....you thought I was slightly mad...wrong...totally barking deary!!!* Where was I??? Oh, yes, punching a rusty heart, adding in an Idea-ology cog and Spinnery thing, holding with a brad in the middle...cool huh?

And...cos it is Wednesday...it is WOYWW! Yah! Last week I 'fessed up about my dark side...well...erm...I was withholding evidence too *blushes* Cos I actually have a few dark sides and here and now I am confessing my further sins... *wondering if I will be forgiven quite so easily this time???*
I have mitigating circumstances though...I have the smallest room in the whole world...so have over spilled into my stepsons room...just for storage like...and I am relatively neat and tidy with it...even buying some storage drawer unit thingy's to use....I have even written on the photo about what is in what drawer....sort of an explanation...

And...here is my lovely neat *not* desk today....on it is a project I started last night...but...alas...I was one stooooopid Hels and slipped getting out of the bath...and have really gone and done it this time... the pain was sooooo bad it took my breath away, so I left the piece unfinished....and that is tragic cos it is using new Maya Road and new Wendy Vecchi stash!! *I had it planned last night...listen to Radio 2 til 7.30pm, time for a soak and then back in the room of stash for more crafting and listening to Radcliffe & Maconie at 8pm...missed my fave show of the day :O(( Is that enough for the sympathy vote I wonder???*

And this, friends...hey, we are all friends here right? This, is the other end of the dark secret desk I showed you last week....ermmmmmm...I know, it is in dire need of sorting out...tis a monstrosity...but I just haven't got around to sorting out the stamps and drawers and stuff...there are a few bits of WIP there too...so, am I forgived this time??? Pllllllease, *playing on the sympathy card* I have a lot of pain .. so it would be cruel not to forgive me today wouldn't it??? ROFL Don't forget to pop over to Julia's place...she has the messiest desk in the world ever which makes mine look very neat *only joking Julia* The two pieces of metal art are one which I made on a TSS workshop(LHS) last year and one I made myself later on (top of the pile)...still yet to be framed...oh and there is a little sneaky piccie of Grim in there too...see, I used to have that part of the room really neat and tidy...so I could look at that pic whenever I wanted to...now I have to crane my neck to see it LOL

Thanks for looking....have a goodly day... I have just read back this post...soz it is soooo long...but I hope that you are still with me LOL ;o))
